Services we offer
We offer custom Long Arm MACHINE QUILTING, BINDIND, QUILT DESIGN, and we'll even custom make the quilt for you. The Long Arm Machine Debra uses is computerized, but Debra has not had time to really learn how the computer works because customers prefer her free motion quilting.
We do occasionally take on a QUILT REPAIR, this work is very time consuming which takes away our time from our other customer's work. This is to say that quilt repair can be rather expensive. Since every job is unique, the costs vary and there are some that we simply cannot do up to our high standards so we will not take on those jobs.
We make gift items right here in the store. Items include TOTE BAGS of all sizes, KITCHEN TOWELS, JOURNALS, BOOK COVERS, JEWELRY, POT HOLDERS, OVEN MITTS, PLACE MATS, MICROWAVE COZIES for bowls, plates, tv dinner trays and frozen entrees, and are adding new items all the time. In addition, Mike has been collecting HOUSE PLANTS and as with most things Mike does, he has gotten carried away so we have a selection of HOUSE PLANTS available in the store. Did I mention the SOFT BLOCKS, CHEF'S APRONS, KITCHEN SCRUBBIES, and ......? Yes, the list goes on and so many of our items in the store are not yet visible on this website.

"If I'm having a problem with my sewing machine, Will you really help me figure out what's wrong?
We sure will! We all have days where our machines act up and a fresh set of eyes can often find and solve the problem. No guarantees but we'll sure do our best.
"Do you carry batting or will I need to provide batting for my quilt?"
We do have batting which is availble for our machine quilting customers. the price is just above wholesale price.
"Do I need to make an appointment to bring in my quilt for quilting?"
No. Our Machine Quilting service is located right there in the store so stop in during business hours. There's almost always something on the machine so you'll get to see Debra quilting if you'd like to watch. And you're always welcome to enjoy the store. A quick note about quilting turnaround time: Machine quilting is done on a first come, first served basis. Typically Debra has a queue of around 30 customer quilts to do so usual turnaround time can be 2-3 months, however we cannot guarantee this time frame because lets face it, we're getting older and things just take longer now. If you do need your quilt fast, we do offer a rush service for a fee of $35 which guarantees your quilt will be finished within 30 days or less. We have to charge this fee because bumping one person's quilt to the top of the queue means bumping everyone else's back.
